Criminal Code of Eldador:By Royal Proclamation, this criminal code shalt apply to all members of the
Ancient Order of Elves and shalt apply to all who visit or dwell in Eldador or its borderlands, elf or otherwise.
Throughout this text the following facts shalt be implied:
Law Enforcement: All laws shall be enforced by members of the Varar en' Eldador.
Judge:
Trials to be judged by a member of the Monarchy or Eldership which has been selected by the Monarchy.
Jury: Left to the discretion of the Judge, a jury may be included in a trial but not necessarily required.
Members of this jury are to be members of good standing in the Ancient Order of Elves as selected by the Judge.
Sentence Times: Sosarian Years are used for all jail terms. [Note that 2.4 RL (Real Life) Months = 1 Sosarian Year,
thus a 6 month Sosarian jail term is about 36 RL (Real Life) days] Also note that all jail times listed below are MAX times.
Sentences are rarely given out at maximum.
Civil Trials: The fines and jail terms stated within are crown appointed. Civil trials may also pursue the below crimes as the parties involved seek compensation for losses.

through RP purely, or the participants are not willing, then this criminal code shall not be in effect.
ElF Criminal Code:
Arson: Whoever, within the territorial jurisdiction of the Ancient Order of Elves (Eldador and its border lands), willfully
and maliciously sets fire to or burns any building, structure, vessel, building materials or supplies, or attempts
or conspires to do such an act, shall be imprisoned for not more than 25 years, fined the greater of the fine
under this title or the cost of repairing or replacing any property that is damaged or destroyed, or both.
If the building be a dwelling or if the life of any person be placed in jeopardy, he shall suffer death, or be fined
under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both.
Animal Assault:Whoever, within the territorial jurisdiction of the Ancient Order of Elves (Eldador and its border lands), willfully
and cruelly, brings harm or death to any peaceful animal inhabitant of Eldador, shall be fined under this title a
minimum of 5,000 gold pieces or imprisoned for not more than 5 years.
Assault: Whoever forcibly assaults a member of the Ancient Order of Elves shall, where the acts in violation of this
section constitute only simple assault, be fined under this title to a maximum of 10,000 gold pieces, or
imprisoned not more than six months, or both, and in all other cases, be fined under this title a maximum of
50,000 gold pieces or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
Assault Against Varar En' Eldador:
Whoever forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes with any member of the
Varar en' Eldador while engaged in or on account of the performance of official duties shall, where the acts
in violation of this section constitute only simple assault, be fined under this title to a maximum of 25,000 gold
pieces, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both, and in all other cases, be fined under this title a
maximum of 80,000 gold pieces or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
Minor Theft:Whoever obtains or uses the property of another which has a value of 25,000 gold pieces or less with
the intent to deprive the other of a right to the property or a benefit of the property or to appropriate the
property to his own use or the use of another shall be fined under this title a maximum of 50,000 gold pieces
or imprisoned not more than eight months, or both.
Grand Theft:Whoever obtains or uses the property of another which has a value of 25,000 gold pieces or more with the
intent to deprive the other of a right to the property or a benefit of the property or to appropriate the property
to his own use or the use of another shall be fined under this title a maximum of 250,000 gold pieces or
imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
Espionage: Whoever, with intent or reason to believe that it is to be used to the injury of the Ancient Order of Elves or to
the advantage of a foreign nation, communicates, delivers, or transmits, or attempts to communicate, deliver,
or transmit, to any foreign government, or to any faction or party or military or naval force , whether recognized
or unrecognized by the Ancient Order of Elves, either directly or indirectly, any document, writing, code book,
signal book, sketch, blueprint, plan, map, note, instrument, or information relating to the national defense,
shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life.
Threats: Whoever knowingly and willfully announces vocally or deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from
any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of,
to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the King or Queen of the Elves, any Arch Elder, Elder, path Leader,
General of the Varar or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of the Ancient Order of Elves,
shall be fined under this title a maximum of 100,000 gold pieces or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
Murder:Murder is the unlawful killing of an elf, human, dwarf or other recognized race, with malice aforethought. Every
murder perpetrated by poison, lying in wait, or any other kind of willful, deliberate, malicious, and premeditated
killing; or committed in the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate, any arson, escape, murder, kidnapping,
treason, espionage, sabotage, aggravated sexual abuse or sexual abuse, burglary, or robbery; or perpetrated
from a premeditated design unlawfully and maliciously to effect the death of any human being other than him
who is killed, is murder in the first degree. Any other murder is murder in the second degree.
* Whoever is guilty of murder in the first degree shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for life
* Whoever is guilty of murder in the second degree, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life
Attempted Murder:Whoever attempts to commit murder, shall be imprisoned not more than twenty years or fined under this title to
no maximum, or both.
Kidnapping:Whoever unlawfully seizes, confines, inveigles, decoys, kidnaps, abducts, or carries away and holds for ransom
or reward or otherwise any person, shall be imprisoned not more than twenty years or fined under this title to
no maximum, or both.
Treason: Whoever, owing allegiance to the Ancient Order of Elves, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies,
giving them aid and comfort within Eldador or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be
imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than 25,000 gold pieces; and shall be
incapable of holding any office within Eldador or the Ancient Order of Elves.
