Who we are:  The Ancient Order of Elves [ElF] is an elven roleplaying group who play in an online game called 'Ultima Online' located on the Pacific shard. We only accept applications from those who play the game or have characters that currently reside on the Pacific shard. Additional information about our guild can be found within our ElF FAQ.

   Prior to Applying:  Please read through the Law and the Lore sections of this site and make sure you agree with our style of Role-playing. Also be sure to read through the Membership Requirements. The more you know of our guild the faster the process of joining ElF will be.

   Application:  Fill out the application form on this web site. Be sure to include a valid email address with your application for that is how we will get in touch with you!

   First Contact:   After you submit the application form a "Sintar" will contact you via email or ICQ and set up an interview with you. Your Sintar will be responsible for your recruitment from this point on. You should keep in close communication with him or her. If you have any questions about ElF you can ask your Sintar, as they are your guide. Also, our irc channel, #elvenorder, is a great place to find Sintars and to seek answers to any questions you may have.     Pre-Interview:  You and your Sintar will have an interview to judge your maturity and ability to fit in with the guild. We suggest you spend a little time with us before the interview and take the time to look over all the rules and information on the website. Your Sintar should go over the guild rules and regulations with you as well as a bit of your history.

    Interview:  If you do well during your pre-interview and your Sintar approves of you then you will be interviewed by an Elder. This second interview is in game and in character. If you pass this second interview you will be asked to swear loyalty to the King and the Pantheon. Once that is done you will be added to the guild as an initiate called a "Nessa Quessir" (or you will be sponsored to the guild and added at a later date when an Elder is online).

    Promotion!:  If you have stayed with us for two weeks as in initiate then you're ready to be promoted. You will go from being a "Nessa Quessir" (New Elf) to an "Eldalie" (Elven Citizen). Eldalie is the main rank of ElF. After becoming a full standing member, some Elves often choose to pursue more involved functions within the guild and may choose a Path to follow. Paths are specialized ranks within ElF and handle various matters of state, lore, church, and the fighting force within the guild. However, Joining a Path is entirely optional.
