How to Connect to #ElvenOrder
(mIRC Windows Version)
This visual instruction page should help you in downloading, installing, and
configuring your personal settings in order to connect to our guild channel, #elvenorder.
It usually takes 10-15 minutes to set up. However, once you have everything in place, it will only
take seconds to connect each time you wish to join our channel!
First, go to
www.mirc.com and
click the "Download mIRC" link which can be found
on the left side of the page as shown in the example below.

Now scroll down and select a location link nearest you to download
the program from which should look like the example below.

Once the download is complete, open the file and you should see
the following 'pop-up' window to start your installation.
Click on the
"Next"
button.

Again, you should see another 'pop-up' window. Read the license
then click on the
"Yes"
button.

Another 'pop-up' window will occur with a default file location.
Click on the option to
"Create shortcut icons"
then
Click on the
"Install"
button

Your installation of mIRC should now be complete!
Click on the
"Launch mIRC"
option
Then click on the
"Finish"
button

You should now have the mIRC Icon on your desktop.
It will look like the example below.
Double-click your Icon and start the program

When the client opens, you will see a 'pop-up' window like the example below.
This is a shareware program and registration is completely optional.
The client will still be available to use for free beyond the 30 day trial period.
Click on the
"Continue"
